How to Shop Jersey Cove: Prices, Sizes, Shipping and Questions
Everything people ask before their first order, answered in one place. No sales pitch, just how it works.
Shopping Quick Answers
- Where can I buy Jersey Cove pieces?
- On this website, and we also sell live on Whatnot and through our eBay store. Everything on the site is in stock at the moment it is listed, not drop shipped.
- What do things cost?
- Most of what we carry sits between twenty and sixty dollars. The price on the listing is the price. Live shows often run below the site price because we move stock faster there.
- Why is every size a separate listing?
- Because we stock single pieces, not full size runs. Listing each size separately means what shows as available is genuinely in our hands right now, with nothing oversold.
What Kind of Shop This Is
We are a small boutique. That is not a marketing line, it describes how everything works here.
We buy hand-picked pieces in small quantities from boutique wholesale labels like Zenana, Umgee, Easel, Dear Scarlett, and Andree by Unit. We photograph what we buy. When a piece sells, it is gone, and the exact color often does not come back.
The upside is that you are unlikely to run into someone wearing the same thing, and that we can answer real questions about any garment because it is physically here. The downside is that stock moves and waiting usually means missing it.
If you see something you love in your size, that is the stock. There is rarely a second chance at the same color.
How Pricing Works
- Most pieces are twenty to sixty dollars. That is deliberate. It is where people actually shop and it is the range we buy for.
- The listed price is the price. No inflated original price with a permanent fake discount next to it.
- Live shows often run lower. We price to move during a show because selling a batch at once is worth more to us than holding it.
- Markdowns happen at the end of a season, not on a rolling fake sale cycle.
- Plus sizes cost the same. We price the Curvy Cove Collection on the same scale as everything else.
If you want to know whether something is likely to be marked down, ask. We will tell you honestly rather than pressure you to buy now.
Getting the Size Right Before You Order
This is the part worth two minutes of your time, and it prevents almost every return.
- Measure a garment you already love. Lay it flat, measure armpit to armpit and double it. Measure shoulder seam to hem. Save both numbers in your phone.
- Check the brand fit notes. Easel runs large and you should size down. Most other brands we carry are close to true to size.
- Ask us for the flat measurements of the piece you are looking at. We will measure the real garment, not quote a chart.
- For a jumpsuit or romper, ask about torso length and inseam. Those two numbers matter more than the size label.
- For light colors, ask about opacity. We will hold it to the light and tell you.
Asking Questions, Shipping, and Returns
Asking us something
Use the form at the bottom of this page. It reaches us directly and we answer with real information about the actual garment. Fit, fabric weight, pockets, color accuracy, whether something will work for a specific event. Nothing is too small to ask.
Shipping
Orders ship from our location in New Jersey. You will get tracking when your order goes out. If you need something by a specific date, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will make it.
Returns
Our current return and refund terms, including the window and the process, are on our Return and Refund Policy page. Read it before ordering so there are no surprises. We would much rather help you get the size right the first time than process a return.
Buying From Us Live
A good part of what we sell moves through live shows, and it is a genuinely different way to shop.
- You see the fabric move on a real person. No guessing from a flat photo.
- You can ask and get an answer in the moment. How thick is it, does it have pockets, what does it look like in natural light.
- Pricing usually runs below the site. We price to move during a show.
- Stock is shown as it is. If a size is gone, you hear it right away instead of after you order.
If you have never done it, our step by step guide to shopping a live show walks through exactly what happens.
Before You Order
Where is this product sold?
Here on jerseycove.com, and through our live shows on Whatnot and our eBay store. Everything listed on the site is physically in our hands, so what shows in stock is real.
What is the cost?
Most pieces are between twenty and sixty dollars, and the price on the listing is the price you pay. There is no inflated original price next to a permanent fake discount.
How do I know what size to order?
Measure a top you already love, flat, armpit to armpit doubled, and shoulder to hem. Then ask us for the same measurements on the piece you want. We will measure the actual garment rather than quote a chart.
Do you ship fast?
Orders ship from New Jersey with tracking. If you need something by a specific date, tell us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it can make it rather than guess.
Can I return something that does not fit?
See our Return and Refund Policy page for the current window and process. We would rather prevent the problem, so ask us for flat measurements before ordering and we will help you pick the right size.
Why does it say only one size is available?
Because we stock individual pieces rather than full size runs, and each size is its own listing. If a size is not showing, it is sold. Ask us and we will tell you whether we can get it again.
Do you restock sold out items?
Sometimes the style, rarely the exact color. Boutique runs are small by design. If you want something specific, tell us and we will let you know if it comes back through.
